Alcorn County schools closed tomorrow due to threat of road flooding

Alcorn County schools are closing tomorrow due to the threat of roads flooding according to a a member of the Alcorn County school board.

The county schools will all be closed Friday, February 22nd.

This as severe weather is reported for the area that includes large hail and the potential for tornadoes.

Several roads throughout the area have already been experiencing flooding.

Some forecasts are showing the potential for up to 8 more inches of rain.
