Tippah County Lake in Mississippi Remains Closed Due to Storm Damage
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks announced that Tippah County Lake in Ripley, Mississippi, remains closed until further notice. The closure follows damage caused by a recent ice storm, which has made the lake unsafe for boating and fishing activities.
MDWFP staff are assessing the damage and working to restore access to the lake. Officials have not specified a timeline for reopening.
The department will notify the public once the lake is safe for recreational use again.
