Biggersville, Corinth haven’t lost in over 2 months as they make playoff runs

If you haven’t been paying attention, Alcorn County still has two squads competing in the state championship football playoffs.

Biggersville and Cointh are a combined 21-2 and are both looking to make playoff runs. If you didn’t know, well, that is very good. And now you know.

Corinth is in the third round of the playoffs after Friday nights dismantling of their 2nd round foe Rosa Fort 49-6.

Biggersville is onto the 2nd round themselves after they put a good old fashioned whooping on West Lowndes by a score of 44-6.

Corinth nor Biggersville have lost since the summer, back in the good old days before games ended with sub freezing temperatures.

The Warriors last loss was way back on August 30th. The Lions haven’t fallen since Sempter 6th.

They’re both at home this Friday night. Pick a game, bundle up and go cheer on our local teams.

Corinth takes on IAHS. Biggersville takes on Noxapater.
