Crowd Gathers Before Sunrise for Trump Rally at Corinth’s Crossroads Arena
Supporters began lining up before sunrise Monday outside the Crossroads Arena in Corinth, hours ahead of President Donald Trump’s rally this afternoon.
A photo from the scene shows attendees settled into lawn chairs behind barricades outside the arena, wrapped in blankets against the morning chill as the sun came up. A sign supporting U.S. Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith is visible among the early crowd.
Trump is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m., campaigning for Hyde-Smith. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., and the program begins at 4:30 p.m. The event is at the Crossroads Arena, 2800 S. Harper Road in Corinth, and RSVP is required.
The Corinth Police Department issued an update this morning stating there will be no street closures today in connection with the rally. Police ask attendees to follow all posted parking guidelines and to watch for additional updates on traffic, parking, and event operations.
An earlier police notice for the event advised attendees to park only in authorized, designated areas, with parking restrictions enforced throughout the event. Vehicles parked in prohibited areas, blocking roadways or driveways, or otherwise violating posted guidelines are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Security screening at the arena will be at a TSA-level standard, and weapons of any kind are prohibited. Full details are in the department’s parking notice.
