Farmington Christmas Parade Set for Dec. 7, Entries Open

The Farmington Christmas parade is set for Dec. 7, 2026, and the city is now taking entries from groups, businesses and families that want a spot in the lineup. The City of Farmington posted the date and an online registration form on its official website, and the city’s 2026 calendar pairs the parade with the “Light the Park” celebration at Heritage Community Park.

The parade will be the last big community event on Farmington’s 2026 calendar, closing a year that included an Easter egg hunt, the Andrew Lloyd Market days, the Little Ms. Farmington pageant, Jeeps & Jams, the Laudadio 5K memorial run and a Halloween trunk-or-treat at Town Hall.

How to enter the Farmington Christmas parade

Registration is handled through a short form on the city website under the Annual Farmington Christmas Parade section. Entrants are asked for:

• A contact name and email address
• The type of entry: a float, a walking group (with the number of walkers), a band, a car or truck, a motorcycle or go-cart, horses, or a carriage
• The length or amount of space the entry will need in the lineup
• A short description of the entry

The city had not posted a start time, route or entry deadline as of Saturday, Nov. 7. Anyone with questions can call Farmington City Hall at (662) 665-9647. City offices are at 4135 County Road 200, and the mailing address is P.O. Box 2796, Corinth, MS 38835.

Light the Park at Heritage Community Park

Farmington’s 2026 calendar lists the parade and “Light the Park” together on Dec. 7. Heritage Community Park is the city’s gathering spot. It hosts the Andrew Lloyd Market and has a pavilion that residents can rent. The city has not yet released a schedule for the lighting. Families planning to attend should watch the city website for start times as the date gets closer.
