Felony Drug Arrest

On March 8th, 2023, Corinth Police Officers responded to the intersection of West Harris Circle and Proper Street in reference to a subject possibly asleep in the driver’s seat.

Officer Pannell arrived and found Daquandrae Stewart passed out in the drivers seat. Officer Pannell also observed a white powder substance on Stewart’s nose. Officers located narcotics inside the vehicle.

Stewart was charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Felony), DUI other, & Driving with a Suspended License.

The felony will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury and the misdemeanors will be handled in Corinth Municipal Court.
