Felony Drug Arrest

On 05/12/23, Officer Williams and Officer Waters responded to a vehicle accident on Hwy 72 and Harper. While working the wreck, one of the occupants, Lena Jo Lilly, was found to have an active Justice Court warrant.

Ms. Lilly was then placed under arrest and transported to the Alcorn County Jail. While out at the jail, a corrections officer began searching Lilly and found a small baggy with a crystal-like substance inside Ms. Lilly’s genitalia.

Lilly was charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance “methamphetamine” and felony Tampering with Physical Evidence.

This case will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury.
