Felony Hit & Run Charges

On the evening of 05/09/23, Corinth Police responded to the intersection of MLK and Horton Street regarding a woman and child being hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle had left the scene but witnesses were able to identify the vehicle as well as the driver, Tina Croft.

Officers located Croft within minutes at her home. Croft was taken into custody and later charged with 2 felony counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injuries, additional charges may be pursued.

The child was taken to Le Bonheur and the mother was transported to North MS Medical Center. They both have been released from the hospital.

This case will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury.
