CORINTH, Miss. — Former Corinth pharmacist Ricky Wayne Quinn has been sentenced to federal prison for conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced Monday.
Quinn, a former pharmacist and co-owner of Medical Plaza Pharmacy in Corinth, was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Glen H. Davidson of the Northern District of Mississippi to 30 months in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, followed by three years of supervised release.
Quinn was also ordered to pay restitution jointly with John Anthony “Andy” Null in the amount of $786,972.10 to the Mississippi Division of Medicaid. Null was previously sentenced on April 20, 2026, in connection with the same case.
According to prosecutors, between 2017 and 2021, Quinn and Null knowingly submitted false and fraudulent claims to Medicare and Medicaid for pharmaceutical drugs that were not dispensed to patients.
Attorney General Fitch said the sentencing sends a message about the state’s commitment to fighting fraud involving taxpayer-funded programs.
“We are sending a clear message that here in Mississippi, we are committed to fighting waste, fraud, and corruption,” Fitch said. “We are grateful for such strong partners at the Office of the Inspector General and U.S. Attorney’s Office. Working together, we are ensuring justice is served on behalf of Mississippi taxpayers.”
The case was investigated by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General. It was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi.
