Over 100 volunteers join in search for missing high school fishing team at Pickwick

Multiple boats, agencies and over 100 volunteers have joined in the efforts to find the missing fishing team at Pickwick.

According to TWRA:

The TWRA and many others are working hard in the search for three boaters missing near Pickwick Dam

TWRA Regional Outreach & Communications Coordinator, Amy Spence gave an update on search and rescue efforts via social media.

She said that there are over 100 volunteers, helicopters and more joining in the search.

TVA has slowed the flow of water, but Spence still calls search efforts a “dangerous situation.”
