Teenager Dies in Tishomingo County ATV Accident

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. – A Tishomingo County teenager has died following an ATV accident early Monday morning.

Union County Coroner Pam Boman confirmed that Ava Colley, 15, passed away Monday morning at a hospital in New Albany.

Authorities said Colley was with family members at the time of the accident. Emergency responders initially intended to airlift her to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, but her condition worsened during transport, forcing medics to stop in New Albany.

Colley was a sophomore at Belmont High School. The school has since released details of her funeral arrangements to the community.
