More quarantines as teacher at Corinth elementary, person at Corinth middle school test positive in addition to 6 at CHS

There is now a positive test with a teacher at Corinth Elementary as well as Corinth Middle school to go along with the 6 positive tests at Corinth High school, according to a release from Corinth School District.

The total number of quarantined individuals is now approximately 100 in the district, after 89 were reported quarantined on Tuesday.

Corinth School District Parents and Guardians, COVID-19 UPDATE:

We have had an individual test positive at Corinth Middle School. Contact tracing at the school has been completed and anyone in close contact (someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for 15 minutes or more) with this person has been notified.

Corinth Elementary School has had an employee to test positive. Contact tracing at the school has been completed and anyone in close contact (someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for 15 minutes or more) with this person has been notified.

If you were notified, your child will need to quarantine for 14 days from the last known contact. While quarantining your child may not attend school or any school activities. However, they should continue working digitally in order to be counted present.
