Northeast Mississippi Community College Police Leaders Engage Middle School Students

Northwest Mississippi Community College police Chief Jason Jackson and Assistant Chief Melissa Pearson recently visited Burnsville Middle School to speak with seventh and eighth grade students.

The officers discussed what it takes to pursue a career in law enforcement and shared advice on how students can start preparing now for a successful future in the field, according to a college news release.

The visit aims to inspire students and provide them with insight into law enforcement careers at an early age, officials said.
