Mississippi will host its annual Free Fishing Days on June 6 and 7, when no license or permits are required at state fishing lakes and park lakes, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
The event encourages anglers to introduce friends and family to the sport and continue the fishing tradition. All anglers can fish at state lakes without purchasing a license during these days.
