Police seek suspect after vehicle burglary at Tupelo Walmart
Police in Tupelo are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a vehicle burglary at a Walmart Neighborhood Market. The incident occurred on March 8, 2026, around 7:08 p.m., according to authorities.
Officers responded to the store at 316 South Gloster after a woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle while she was loading groceries. The suspect, described as an unidentified male, entered the victim’s vehicle and took her purse before fleeing on foot down Carnation Street behind a nearby business.
The purse was recovered in the area, but approximately $300 in cash was stolen, police said. The suspect remains at large, and authorities are asking for tips from the public.
