A dense fog advisory is in effect for portions of western Tennessee through 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory warns of reduced visibility that could impact travel conditions in the region. Drivers are advised to slow down, use headlights, and maintain safe following distances.
Meteorologists expect the fog to lift later this morning as temperatures rise and conditions improve. No injuries or accidents have been reported related to the fog as of now.
