The event will feature information on emergency planning and connect attendees with local preparedness resources. It is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to organizers.
The location is 2250 Greenway Drive in Jackson. Organizers emphasize the importance of staying prepared, especially given Mississippi’s frequent severe weather events.
Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and participate in the event to better protect themselves and their families during emergencies, officials said.
