Flood Watch and Heat Advisory Issued for Northwest Tennessee

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to affect northwest Tennessee on Tuesday, prompting a Flood Watch for the region, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.

The weather service also issued a Heat Advisory due to forecasted triple-digit heat indices that are expected to persist through the end of the week.

Residents in the area are advised to stay alert for potential flooding and to take precautions against extreme heat.
