Mississippi Driver’s Licenses Issue Resolved, Free Replacements Offered
Mississippi officials announced Thursday that they have identified the cause of issues preventing some driver’s licenses from scanning properly at TSA checkpoints and other locations.
Residents whose licenses are affected are encouraged to schedule an appointment online for a replacement starting June 23 at a nearby Driver Service Bureau. The new licenses will be issued free of charge.
The state apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience as the department works to resolve the issue.
