The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Bertha, which is moving westward through the Gulf of Mexico, according to officials.
Tropical storm warnings remain in effect along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where tropical storm conditions are expected to continue throughout the day, July 22, 2026, the agency said.
A coastal flood warning is also in effect for parts of Mississippi, as officials urge residents to stay safe and stay informed about weather developments.
Authorities continue to monitor the storm’s progress and advise residents to prepare for possible impacts from heavy rain, flooding, and wind.
