Mississippi’s 2026 spring squirrel season ends June 1

The spring squirrel hunting season in Mississippi will close on Monday, June 1, according to state wildlife officials.

Hunters have access to a variety of public lands, including Wildlife Management Areas, National Wildlife Refuges, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lands.
