Cigarette and ENDS product manufacturers’ certification period opens June 1, 2026

The Department of Revenue announced that the annual certification and re-certification filing period for cigarette and electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) product manufacturers will open June 1, 2026.

House Bill 916, passed during the 2025 legislative session, mandated the department to establish directories for both cigarettes and ENDS products. These directories became available on October 1, 2025, on the department’s website under the Taxpayer Access Portal (TAP) Tools menu.

The directories are updated monthly to ensure current information. For more details, the department directs interested parties to the Cigarette and ENDS Directory notices available online at https://www.dor.ms.gov/news/filing-opens-june-1-cigarette-and-ends-products.
