From north Mississippi to the Gulf Coast, the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) operates 18 State Fishing Lakes. These locations offer anglers a chance to get on the water, cast a line, and enjoy the outdoors, according to the department.
The lakes are spread across the state, making it easy for residents and visitors to find a nearby fishing spot. MDWFP encourages outdoor enthusiasts to explore these lakes and plan their next fishing trip.
