Mississippi conservation officers assist at Holmes County youth camp

Conservation officers from Mississippi’s Central Region recently participated in the Holmes County Vo-Tech Center’s Summer Youth Camp, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

The officers assisted with activities and shared their knowledge about outdoor recreation and wildlife conservation. Department officials said the event provides a valuable opportunity to connect with young people and promote environmental stewardship.

Officials expressed their enthusiasm for engaging with the community and fostering a love for Mississippi’s natural resources among the next generation.
