NEMCC graduate earns pharmacy certification, serves community in Iuka

Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Adult Education program highlighted graduate Shiloh McDonald in its latest alumni spotlight. McDonald earned her High School Equivalency diploma through the program while participating in the NEMCC WIOA Gateway Youth Program.

Since graduation, McDonald has continued her education and professional development. She recently obtained her Pharmacy Technician Certification and is now working at a pharmacy in Iuka, according to college officials.

Her journey demonstrates how earning a high school equivalency can open doors to new opportunities. NEMCC officials expressed pride in her accomplishments and said they look forward to her future success.

The college encourages other alumni to share their stories and be featured in future spotlights, inviting former students to contact their Adult Education instructor or College & Career Navigator.
