Northeast recognizes Dr. Justin Treloar with Way Award

Dr. Justin Treloar, division head for languages at Northeast Mississippi Community College, has received this month’s Northeast Way Award. The honor recognizes employees who exemplify service, leadership, and dedication.

According to his nominator, Treloar is always willing to assist students, support colleagues, and lead his division. His commitment extends beyond the classroom, including involvement with the Phi Theta Kappa organization and various service projects.

Colleagues say Treloar invests countless hours in student activities and service initiatives that promote academic and personal growth. His efforts often happen behind the scenes but have a significant impact across campus.

His humility is cited as a key reason for his recognition. “People who give selflessly don’t always get the recognition they deserve,” the nominator said. “Justin is a humble leader for our division, and I would like to see him get a pat on the back.”

The Northeast Way emphasizes leading through service and making a difference without seeking recognition. College officials congratulated Treloar on the award and encouraged others to nominate employees who embody this spirit. Nominations can be submitted at the provided link.
