Roadwork to Cause Nighttime Delays on Highway 145 and Streets Starting June 1

Roadwork is set to begin Monday, June 1, on North Second Street from Chambers to South Second Street, and on Cedar Drive. The work will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to officials.

In addition, milling and paving operations are scheduled on Highway 145. The project is expected to last approximately three to four weeks.

The Police Department urges drivers to exercise extreme caution in the construction zones, expect possible delays, and stay alert for workers and equipment. Authorities ask for patience and cooperation as crews work to improve the roadways.
