A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for portions of West Tennessee through midnight, according to the National Weather Service.
The primary threat from these storms is damaging wind, but some storms could also produce large hail, officials said.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay alert and seek shelter if severe weather develops. No injuries or damages have been reported at this time.
The weather service will monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.
