Tippah County Lake in Mississippi to reopen for fishing and boating on May 30

Tippah County Lake in Ripley, Mississippi, will reopen to fishing and boating on Saturday, May 30, the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks announced.

The lake was temporarily closed due to storm debris removal following Winter Storm Fern in January. Officials said crews have been working to clean and restore the area.

The campground will remain closed as repairs and debris cleanup continue. MDWFP will notify the public when the campground reopens.
