The campground at Tippah County Lake reopened July 1 after a temporary closure for cleanup efforts and storm debris removal, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
The lake itself reopened to fishing and boating on May 30, 2026. Visitors can now enjoy the full lake experience ahead of the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
