Weak cold front brings scattered showers to Mid-South

A weak cold front is forecast to move across the Mid-South on Thursday afternoon, bringing widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.

The agency urges residents to stay safe and follow lightning safety tips, including going indoors when thunder is heard.
