Alcorn County Police Searching for Driver in Hit and Run

The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office has released a statement and images, which asks for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle and driver involved in the hit-and-run of a pedestrian.

“The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office needs your help. Just after 4:00 p.m. today November 4th a pedestrian was struck by a black Chevrolet Tahoe while walking on South Harper Rd. 

This occurred just east of Manpower Rd. in front of Caterpillar. The suspect vehicle fled the scene toward South Tate St.  The pedestrian has been airlifted with serious injuries.
