Abe’s Grill Reopens in Corinth, Carrying On Mr. Abe Whitfield’s Legacy
Abe’s Grill on Highway 72 in Corinth has re-opened its doors, a welcome milestone for a great Mississippi business that closed after the passing of its founder, Mr. Abe Whitfield, on September 12.
Corinth said goodbye to Mr. Whitfield last month, when hundreds of friends and customers turned out to honor the man behind one of Alcorn County’s most beloved gathering places. If you missed that story, you can read our full account here: Corinth Says Goodbye to Abe Whitfield of Abe’s Grill.
Now the grill is back open — and the family behind it is ready to welcome folks back through the door.
We look forward to visiting Mrs. Terri and Mr. Ryan this week, and we hope some of you will go and support them as well. Few things mean more to a family business than seeing familiar faces come back after a hard season.
Abe’s Grill has been a fixture on Highway 72 for years, the kind of place where the regulars have their orders down by heart and newcomers leave as friends. Keeping that tradition alive is a fitting tribute to Mr. Abe himself.
Stop by this week, get a plate, and show Mrs. Terri, Mr. Ryan and the whole crew that Corinth is standing with them. Continued prayers for their family.
