Corinth Police Felony Arrests: September 2026 List Released

The Corinth Police Department on Monday released its list of Corinth police felony arrests for September 2026, identifying three people booked on felony charges during the month. The charges include burglary of a commercial building, firearms trafficking and the felony taking of a motor vehicle.

The department shared booking photos of the three under the heading “Felony Arrests September 2026” on its official Facebook page. All three are charged, not convicted. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

September felony arrests by Corinth police

According to the Corinth Police Department, the following people were arrested on felony charges in September:

  • Paul Michael Owen is charged with burglary of a commercial building.
  • Bradley Alex Davis is charged with firearms trafficking. The Daily Corinthian reported that Davis, 26, with no address on record, was arrested Sept. 21.
  • Karen Marie Kirkland is charged with felony taking of a motor vehicle.

The department’s post did not include arrest dates for Owen or Kirkland, details about the circumstances of each case, or information on bond. Ages and hometowns for Owen and Kirkland were not released with the post.

What the charges mean

Each charge on the list is a felony under Mississippi law, which means it can carry a sentence in state custody rather than the county jail if a person is convicted.

  • Burglary of a commercial building generally means breaking into and entering a business or other non-residential building with the intent to commit a crime inside, such as theft.
  • Firearms trafficking charges generally involve the illegal transfer or sale of guns, such as moving multiple firearms to people who are not allowed to have them.
  • Felony taking of a motor vehicle is Mississippi’s charge for taking someone else’s car, truck or other vehicle without permission when the value of the vehicle makes the offense a felony.

What happens next

In Alcorn County, felony cases usually start with an initial appearance before a judge, where bond is set. They then go to a grand jury, which decides whether there is enough evidence for an indictment. Cases that are indicted are prosecuted in Alcorn County Circuit Court by the District Attorney’s Office for the First Circuit Court District.

Corinth police regularly post their felony arrests in monthly roundups like this one. These lists give residents a look at the more serious cases officers handle each month. Anyone with information about crimes in the city can contact the Corinth Police Department at its station at 2837 S. Harper Road or send a message through the department’s Facebook page.

The September list comes during a busy stretch for the department. Officers and the Corinth-Alcorn SWAT team arrested a man on Oct. 2 in connection with a shooting near Scott and Dorsey streets.
