Corinth man arrested on first degree murder charge after Ripley man found burned inside vehicle
From the Tish County Sheriffs Office:
On Friday, July 8th 2022 an arrest was made in connection with the burned vehicle with human remains found inside on April, 28th 2022, on Cr 388 in Sharps Bottom.
During the investigation, the body that was found inside, and was later identified to be Jerry Wayne Thrasher of the Ripley, who had been previously reported missing.
Charges have been filed for 1st Degree Murder, and 3rd Degree Arson on 24 year old Gavin Cole Stanton of Corinth Ms.
Mr. Stanton was arrested and his bond was set at $ 500.000.00
