NWS Memphis says Corinth stays cool before warming by weekend
The National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee said another cool night is expected across the Mid-South, with partly to mostly cloudy skies, lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s and light northeast winds. The agency said those temperatures are close to normal for this time of year.
A second forecast graphic said near-normal temperatures should continue through Thursday. After that, readings are expected to climb above normal late this week and into early next week, while mainly rain-free weather is expected through the upcoming weekend.
For Corinth, the forecast graphic shows a high of 85 Thursday, 87 Friday and Saturday, and 88 Sunday and Monday. The same outlook then shows 91 Tuesday before a drop back to 85 Wednesday.
The weather service’s post said the cooler night is a sign that fall is underway. Its update did not show a significant rain threat in the period covered by the graphics.
