Kossuth Sweeps Belmont for First-Ever North Half Volleyball Title

The Kossuth Lady Aggies are North Half champions for the first time in program history.

Kossuth swept the Belmont Cardinals 3-0 on Monday night at home to claim the MHSAA North Half volleyball title, punching the Lady Aggies’ ticket to the state championship match.

The win moves Kossuth to 30-4 on the season.

Next up is a date with a volleyball powerhouse. The Lady Aggies face Our Lady Academy of Bay St. Louis for the state title. The Crescents come in at 30-10 after a 3-0 win over Presbyterian Christian of Hattiesburg.
