Missouri man arrested by U.S. Marshals on Monroe County child molestation warrant

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. — A 55-year-old Missouri man was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Sept. 10 after Monroe County Sheriff’s Office SVU investigators obtained a felony warrant charging him with molestation of a minor.

Thomas Hendricks, currently of Missouri, is being brought back to Monroe County to answer to the charge, according to the sheriff’s office.

Hendricks was presented to a Monroe County grand jury on the charge in July. The investigation began back in April, when a young woman came forward to investigators with allegations that the abuse occurred when she was in her early teens and Hendricks was still living in Monroe County.

The investigation is ongoing. Hendricks’ bond has been set at $25,000.
