18-year-old man charged with child molestation in Prentiss County
PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. — An 18-year-old man has been charged with child molestation after authorities say he inappropriately touched a five-year-old girl.
The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department received a report on Sunday, June 7, 2026, prompting an investigation. As a result, Preston Jeremiah Thomas, of Booneville, was taken into custody.
Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop set bond at $150,000. The case will be presented to a Prentiss County grand jury by Investigator Torie Jumper. Assisting in the investigation were investigators Aaron Stolz and Kolby Knight, along with Deputy Dennis Peeks.
