Corey Stephenson, who was named MVP at the Reese’s All-Star Game, has signed his first professional contract with the Detroit Pistons, according to team sources.
Stephenson was an all-conference player at Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2023 before finishing his college career with FIU Men’s Basketball. His performance at the All-Star Game helped boost his profile ahead of turning professional.
The 2023 All-Star Game MVP award highlights Stephenson’s rising talent. The Detroit Pistons have yet to release details of the contract or his role with the team.
