CTED officers receive promotions to senior ranks

Several officers with the Connecticut State Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (CTED) have been promoted to new ranks, the agency announced Monday.

Master Sergeant Cody Crum was promoted to Master Sergeant in Troop F. Master Sergeant Justin Thomas received the same rank in Troop H, and Master Sergeant Joseph Ayers was promoted within the Special Operations Group, the agency said.

Lieutenant Michael Recio was promoted to district supervisor for Troop C, while Lieutenant Dustin McGee also advanced within the Special Operations Group. Major Andrew Dellapenna was named director of administrative and special operations for CTED, according to the agency.

Officials praised the officers for their dedication to public safety. “Well done to each of you on this achievement,” the agency said in a statement.
