Mississippi wildlife officers receive promotions in Central Region

Three officers with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) in the department’s Central Region were recognized during promotion pinning ceremonies on August 11 and 17.

Sergeant Major Karri Fulton was promoted to lieutenant, while Sergeant Jerry Poindexter and Sergeant Joshua Stoll both received promotions to master sergeant, according to MDWFP.

The department congratulated the officers on their well-deserved promotions. It also expressed appreciation for their ongoing dedication to protecting Mississippi’s wildlife and natural resources, as well as serving the residents of the state.
