Hunters have until August 15, 2026, to submit applications for the upcoming 2026 Wildlife Management Area (WMA) draw hunts, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
The hunts include deer, early teal, rabbit, dove, and youth dove seasons. Applicants are advised to apply soon to secure their chance to hunt on designated WMAs.
All applications must be submitted through the department’s new licensing system. For more information and to apply, visit the department’s website.
The department reminds hunters of the upcoming application deadline and encourages early submission to avoid missing out on the opportunity.
