Heat Wave Prompts Heat Advisory in Memphis Area

A heat wave is forecast to begin in Memphis tomorrow, with heat indices exceeding 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for tomorrow, and an Extreme Heat Watch is in effect from Monday through Thursday.

Officials recommend limiting outdoor activity, staying hydrated, and checking on loved ones during the extreme temperatures.
