Marginal risk for severe thunderstorms forecast for parts of Arkansas and Tennessee

A marginal risk for severe thunderstorms is forecast for Monday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service said. The area with the highest potential includes northeast Arkansas and northwest Tennessee.

Meteorologists noted that confidence in the forecast remains low at this time. The risk level indicates isolated severe storms could occur, with possible damaging winds or hail.

Authorities advise residents in the affected regions to stay updated on weather alerts and prepare accordingly. No severe weather threats have been confirmed at this time.
