A marginal risk of thunderstorms is forecast Tuesday across parts of northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and West Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service.
The primary hazards from these storms are expected to be damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours, which could lead to localized flooding and property damage, authorities said.
Meteorologists are monitoring the situation, and residents in these areas are advised to stay alert for changing weather conditions and to follow local warnings and advisories.
No severe weather threats beyond the marginal risk are currently anticipated, but officials urge preparedness given the possibility of stronger storm development.
