A marginal risk for severe thunderstorms has been issued for parts of east Arkansas, north Mississippi, and southwest Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service.
The threat is expected to develop later this afternoon into this evening. Damaging winds are expected to be the primary hazard associated with any severe storms that form.
