Mississippi Adult Education Students Prepare for Mock Interviews

Students in the Adult Education program at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville prepared for upcoming mock interviews during a session led by Bro. Terry Smith. The training focused on essential interview etiquette, including proper handshakes and professional attire.

Students practiced handshake techniques and gained hands-on experience tying ties, aiming to boost their confidence for real interview scenarios. One student, Scout Mackin, demonstrated how to tie a tie during the session, which was attended by several students from the Gateway program.

The training was part of efforts to equip adult learners with skills to succeed in employment opportunities. The mock interviews are scheduled for tomorrow, providing students a chance to apply what they learned in a simulated setting, according to program organizers.
