Mississippi to Host 2026 Gamebird Workshop at Marion County WMA
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is reminding the public to mark their calendars for the 2026 Gamebird Workshop at Marion County Wildlife Management Area.
The event is scheduled for May 22, 2026, and is open to hunters, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts interested in managing gamebirds in Mississippi, according to MDWFP.
Registration is now open. The workshop is hosted by Mississippi State University Extension Gamebird Program and MDWFP, in partnership with Mississippi State University Extension Services, Quail Forever, and The National Wild Turkey Federation.
