Northeast Mississippi Community College Honors Dental Hygiene Class of 2026
Northeast Mississippi Community College recognized the accomplishments of its Dental Hygiene Class of 2026 during the annual Student Awards Ceremony. The students demonstrated dedication, compassion, and clinical excellence as they prepare to enter the healthcare field.
Recipients of awards included Skyla Adair, who received the Faculty Choice Award; Bliss Ricketts, awarded the Colgate STAR Award and the Golden Scaler for having the highest clinic GPA; and Allison Bastida, who received the Perseverance Award. Maddie Johnson was honored with the Radiology Award, while Bliss Ricketts and Kayley Drummond earned membership in Sigma Phi Alpha. The Martha Johnson Dental Hygiene Award went to Maryann Hammock.
Additional recognitions included Abby Hardin, who received the MDHA Award, and Emilee Grisham, honored by the Health Sciences Division. College officials praised these students for embodying service, skill, and purpose. They are poised to make a positive impact in their communities through patient care and clinical excellence.
